Ara student volunteer and passionate netball coach is in Africa this week to help out at the world'sBack in May UTSNZ put the call out to tertiary students to volunteer at a FISU world university championship. Among the NZ applicants was Travis Timpson, a second-year Business Management student from Ara Institute of Technology. Lauren Fargher will be the NZ representative at the 2018 FISU World University Weightlifting Championship in Poland in September. Lauren has had a rapid ascendancy in the sport, including her surprise inclusion in the World University Games team last year.
