2026 National Tertiary Football Cup: Regional Qualifiers
Event Brief
The National Tertiary Football Cup returns as our teams fight for a spot at the 2027 FISU University World Cup Football. The first step in the qualifying process for both men's and women's teams is to make it out of their regions before taking on the best of the best at nationals. The northern qualifiers will see the University of Auckland play against AUT, central qualifiers will be Massey University against Victoria University of Wellington, and down south the University of Canterbury and University of Otago teams will go head-to-head.
These qualifiers are high stakes one-off matches, with the winners progressing to the National Tertiary Football Cup in September (dates & venues TBC).
